Day 4: A Glutton for happiness
A Glutton For Happiness
Water-colors/ink on paper
I came up with the idea for this as I was walking outside. the air here is finally starting to cool down and I am a huge fan of cool weather. Anyway, I was walking along when all the sudden this breeze came and it felt absolutely wonderful. I started to feel really, really happy and excited about what that gust of wind represented for the upcoming season. So, what better way to convey that happiness than to have your head explode in an assortment of various colors?
Exactly. there is no better way.

Day 3: As the Colors Change
As The Colors Change
Photography
I wanted to draw something today, but the computer I have all of my programs in stopped working yesterday, and I can't get my hands messy because I have work in a little while. So instead I went outside in the rain and tried to think of the best way to convey the day. And this is it; Rainy, and dreary, but the leaves are started to get that beautiful Autumn color and I can't help but be happy as I walk in the wonderful rain.

Weekend Announcement
I have made the decision not to post artwork on weekends because it conflicts with my schedule to the point that it becomes a hassle. But! to make up for the loss of two posts a week, I will put extra energy into the five pieces* I do post during a week.
Thank you for viewing my blog! share it with people!
Peace!
-Armstrong
*the amount of posts may vary depending on the situations that arise on any given week. For example: If school decides to interfere with my time usually spent on the arts, then I will most likely choose my future over entertaining you guys. Sorry. That's just how it is.

Day 1: Late Arrival
Late Arrival.
I was inspired to draw this particular piece because today is the first day of Autumn, but here in North Carolina, it's hot, humid, and very un-Autumn like.

In The Beginning...
Alright then. this is my first blog ever. For a long time I've had a desire to start an art project that I would be passionate about and stick to, but for the same amount I've had trouble thinking up an idea that I knew I would enjoy. Then I started thinking about what I love, and what I need to do in order to get myself going. This meant starting to think of how I could deliver my ideas in a realistic and practical way.
Autumn has always been my favorite season, and I've always had a fascination with the various symbols it's associated with. I came up with the idea to start a project starting on the first day of Autumn and ending the day before winter. Starting tomorrow I will be posting a new piece of artwork every day for the entire season of Autumn. My art will reflect my thoughts and emotions of that particular day, and how it's associated with the season.
I hope that you the viewer will join me in my season long quest as I deliver a project that I've had on my mind for a long time.
Thank you,
-Benjamin Armstrong.
